Job Description: The Kingston School of Art is currently seeking a Children\'s Program Coordinator/Teacher for their year round Children\'s Art programming. This is a part time possible 1 year contract position with a quarterly renewal based on performance evaluation.
Work Site Location:
Kingston School of Art 647 Princess Street Kingston, ON K7L 1E4
Minimum Requirements / Work Experience:
• Planning and coordinating all Children’s after school/weekends classes, PA Days, March Break Camps and Summer Camps
• Some Marketing & Special Event planning
• Approx. 10 hours per month volunteering at meetings/events/open houses etc.
• Supervising volunteers and summer students
• Budgeting and ordering art supplies

• Self-employed contract position based on experience.

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent in teaching experience
• Background in Creative Visual Arts/ Art History
• Excellent communication, organizational and administrative skills a must
• Experience in preparing lesson plans and understanding of children’s learning styles
• Volunteer experience in the non-profit sector preferred
• Current CPIC
