Account Manager Job Summary:

But we aren’t talking about selling anything.  You understand and have great knowledge about digital media.  You know it is a fantastic way to promote a company’s product or service and you truly believe in the power of video.  You are forward thinking and a lot of that thinking is out of the box.  You see opportunity around every corner, but more importantly, you don’t wait for opportunity to knock – you open the door and go looking for it.

 

Viva Productions is looking for a full-time Account Manager to work for our company in Kingston, Ontario. 

 

Responsibilities:

o   Recruit clients for television or video production services and any additional services for the growth and advancement of the company.

o   Develop and maintain close relations with local business community in order to fulfill client’s needs more effectively.

o   Promote services through social media, conventions, trade shows, networking events, public relations, etc.

o   Be familiar with all all aspects of digital media, video production, web video, social media in order to discuss and explain materials to prospective clients.

o   Communicating services to potential clients.

o   Visit potential clients and explain our services and close sales.

o   Observe our production team and become familiar with video and television production products

o   Complete Request For Proposal Submissions

o   Work with marketing to develop new leave-behind product(s), newsletter, advertising materials, etc.

o   Work with CEO and management to develop new products, services and opportunities for the company.

Minimum Requirements / Work Experience:
Academic/Educational Requirements:
List:
• Degree or Diploma from an accredited post secondary institution in the areas of Sales, Advertising, Marketing or related areas or equivalent experience.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Sales & Media Sales Experience
• Must have a passion for television and video production
• Great communication and people skills and can easily work with clients and other team members
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and vehicle
• Knowledge of basic computer programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• Respectful and considerate
• Time Management Skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• 3-5 years of experience. Minimum 3 year experience in the industry
