Permanent Full Time Position

 Under the direction of the National Manager PSP Operations and responsive to the service needs of the CFB Kingston Base Commander, the Personnel Support Programs (PSP) Manager plans, coordinates, manages, and controls the operations and delivery of personnel support programs, including hospitality, physical fitness, sports, recreation, health promotion, and community service programs.   Responsibilities:

-       Controls the operations and delivery of physical fitness, sports, health promotion, hospitality services and community and recreation programs.

-       Develops and implements short and long range PSP business plans and budgets.

-       Guides and directs PSP management and staff in the development, promotion and delivery of programs and services.

-       Oversees the recruitment, training and development of staff.

-       Ensures compliance with collective agreements and implements PSP policies and procedures.

-       Advises the Commanding Officer/Senior Administration Officer on PSP matters

 Qualifications:-       Master’s degree in Business Administration, Physical Education, or a related fieldOR-       Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Physical Education, Recreation, or Health PromotionOR

-       College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Sports Administration, Exercise Sciences, Recreation Management, or Hospitality Services

-   Of the principles of business management, practices, and theories-   Of fitness, sports, recreation, health promotion and hospitality programs-   Of family support programs-   Of community services programs -   Of resource management -   Of project management-   Of financial management-   Of personnel management -   A minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing multi-business operations-   Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail, and Internet browsing

-       Demonstrated in verbal, written, presentations and meeting facilitation.

Salary: $ 80,320 - $ 100,410 per annum

 

Relocation expenses specifically outlined in the NPP Relocation Directive may be approved for full-time employees who require relocating to a new location.
